		Welcome to the Year of Recovery! For many companies, the past two years have been quite difficult. Klüber was no exception, but the long-awaited turnaround is here, and has been for us since the earlier part of this year. And while the recovery may be slow at first, it's good to be back in growth mode. This issue shows the progress we've made during the economic slowdown. The lead story is about our newest invention, an anti-corrosion coating grease dispersion for chain winterization. We also have an article about how lubricants are being used in industries from medical application to food processing to plastics. We also discuss how the decision-making factors for maintenance supplies in the food industry have changed from price negotiations to payback analysis and cost savings measured by key performance indicators. And one of our top engineers talks about lubricating gears with specialty synthetic oils. We have some ambitious projects planned for 2011. We have a new sales and marketing organizational structure, a strong application engineering department and a Global Action Team set up to better serve our global customers and prospects in our local market. Dieter A. Becker

Dieter A. Becker joined Klüber Lubrication North America L.P. as President & CEO in July 2010. Mr. Becker has held a number of positions within the Klüber group, as well as the Freudenberg group of companies. Most recently, he was Head of Global Sales at Klüber Lubrication München KG. Mr. Becker graduated from the Professional Academy in Mannheim, Germany with a focus on business management. He currently resides in Manchester, New Hampshire.
